OFFICINARKITETTURA - Marco Battaglini Collection
Avant-garde solutions for interior decoration are constantly evolving, and technology has a significant contribution. High-performance, light and resistant materials, which do not burden the walls and at the same time offer infinite aesthetic possibilities, have become more and more accessible.
The Officinarkitettura company is a renowned one for wall finishes, which performs works on various materials, such as Kerlite, ceramics, vinyl, fiberglass, as well as on materials with sound-absorbing properties.
Born in Verona in 1969 and now living in Costa Rica, Marco Battaglini is an artist who blends classical and contemporary art through his original ARTPOPCLASSIC ® style.
Probably the uniqueness of the Italian artist is to conceptualize the possible coexistence of the ideals of classical beauty with contemporary urban anti-aesthetics, the juxtaposition of the divine and refined with the vulgar, through a composition capable of integrating different realities in an eternal moment.
Battaglini modernizes the history of his deeply rooted Italian roots, combining images of works of art with profane backgrounds with an urban style. His art features historical influences with an ironic and contemporary twist on a plane where time does not exist.
In the words of the artist “I like to create compositions capable of recreating that atmosphere without space-time where everything is possible... Contrast is a very important element of my aesthetic language because it allows me to open a portal to provoke thought. and the encouragement of imagination... that great engine through which we can access other dimensions and create our own reality. I find it important to engage viewers and challenge them to remove judgment and notice beyond the apparent. I want to be the means of expanding the perception of things, by comparison and at the same time a union, a convergence, of times, places, cultures, languages, ways of seeing reality".
Battaglini has exhibited his work around the world and continues his mission to inspire the world with his art.
