Petits Bijoux is a representation of "static motion", the effect of an action that seems to mimic the gesture of throwing a stone into a pool of water, creating concentric waves that propagate in space. The concept of the sphere, the circle as a metaphor for infinity and perfection, was the favorite theme, recurring, during the thirty years of production of Catellani & Smith lamps and makes it come back. A chandelier that is remarkably simple in design, but extraordinary in terms of workmanship.
