Studio 65
Studio 65 was founded in 1965 by the designer Franco Audrito and a young team of designers, who create special objects, such as the famous Bocca sofa and the Capitello chair. Today it is known all over the world and they have offices in Turin, Jeddah, Cairo and Bali.
Bocca sofa
Year: 1970
The design of the Bocca sofa was inspired by the portrait of Mae West, made by the surrealist painter Salvador Dali, but also by the red lips of the Hollywood divas, the architects from Studio 65, thus succeeding in creating a true work of pop art . Sensual and provocative, feminine and elegant: Bocca is one of the most sought after and loved pieces of furniture.
Since 2008, Bocca is also available in Dark Lady and Pink Lady versions. The first has a rebellious design, being entirely black and accessorized with an oversized piercing, in rock notes, and the second - Pink Lady is available in fuchsia or red and is a contemporary, glamorous interpretation of the original design.
