During the 1930s in Paris, Dalí collaborated with Jean-Michel Frank, a distinguished furniture maker and decorator. This collaboration extended beyond traditional furnishing elements, encompassing tap fittings, handles, printed fabrics and various objects that showcased Dalí's multidisciplinary approach to art.

In the 1990s, a dedicated team led by Oscar Tusquets, undertook the ambitious task of bringing Dalí's furniture designs for Jean-Michel Frank into tangible reality.
