Versatile fruit or candy stand. Born in Aichi, Japan, in 1977, Sakura Adachi earned a degree in industrial design and crafts from Musashino University of Art in Tokyo and a master's degree in industrial design from Saint Martins Central College of Arts and Design in London. "His Cave Bookstore" was on display at a fair in Copenhagen, where the Prince of Denmark visited his stand. Since 2004 he has lived and worked in Milan, where he collaborates with important design studios. He has won numerous awards, including the Red Dot Design Award. He was a lecturer at the European Institute of Design in Milan. Since 2014 he has been a lecturer in industrial design at the ISIA institute in Pordenone.
